Black Tea is a type of Tea that is found in tea-growing countries such as Ceylon (Sri Lanka), China, India, Kenya & Vietnam. After a complex manufacture process the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant is turned into the world’s favorite hot beverage.
Black tea is a variety of tea that’s usually withered and fired during manufacture making the Green Tea leaf hard and crispy. For something of this nature to be brewed into a Tea, steeping with boiling water of 100 C is required.
The correct method is mentioned below in numbered steps
Tea bags in a cup or mug
- Place the Tea bag into your mug of choice
- Pour in boiling water (100 C)
- Allow to steep for 2-3 mins
- Put a saucer on the top of the cup and close the opening
- Open after 1 min and stir twice in a circular motion
- Close with saucer
- Open after another min and repeat the two circular stirs
- Close with saucer
- Open the saucer after 2 or 3 mins according to the Tea strength you prefer
- take the Tea bag out
- if you require an extra strong cup of Tea dip in the Tea bag a few times before taking it out
- ENJOY! if you desire straight Black Tea
- If you fancy milk Tea simply add a dash of full cream milk along with a tea spoon of condense milk ( if possible)
- To make it naturally sweet choose healthy sweeteners like Honey , Coconut sugar , or any type of molasses
Loose Tea in a Tea cup or mug
- 2 g of your favorite Black tea leaves
- Pour in boiling water (100 C)
- Allow to steep for 2-3 mins
- Put a saucer on the top of the cup and close the opening
- Open after 1 min and stir twice in a circular motion
- Close with saucer
- Open after another min and repeat the two circular stirs
- Close with saucer
- Open the saucer after 2 or 3 mins according to the Tea strength you prefer
- Using a strainer strain out the infused Tea leaves
- If you desire straight Black Tea, ENJOY!
- If you’re feeling adventurous add a dash of lemon or lime (suitable only for straight black tea)
- If you fancy milk Tea simply add a dash of full cream milk along with a tea spoon of condense milk (if possible)

Loose Tea in a Tea pot
- Add 1 extra Tea spoon of tea leaves to the amount of cups you require (e.g. 3 cups = 4 Teaspoons , 4 cups = 5 Teaspoons )
- Pour in boiling water (100 C)
- Allow to steep for 2-3 mins
- close the lid
- Open after 1 min and stir twice in a circular motion
- Close lid
- Open after another min and repeat the two circular stirs
- Close lid
- Open the lid after 2 or 3 mins according to the Tea strength you prefer
- Using a strainer strain out the infused Tea leaves when pouring it into a cup or mug
- ENJOY! If you desire straight Black Tea
- If your feeling adventurous add a dash of lemon or lime (suitable only for straight black tea)
- If you fancy milk Tea simply add a dash of full cream milk along with a tea-spoon of condense milk ( if possible)

Iced Black Tea
- After brewing your favorite Tea leaves or Tea bag
- Pour the Tea brew into a jug
- Add lemon slices & lemon juice for a tangy iced Tea, strawberry pure for strawberry iced tea, broken fresh mint leaves (break by hand to avoid blackening) and sweeteners of your choice
- Stir well
- Add ice cubes
- Stir again
- ENJOY!
The extra adventurous can experiment with their favorite type of infusion like, Cinnamon, Cardamom, and Clove or Chai powder. This is suitable only if you’re consuming Black Tea straight up/ plain without milk. Grind your favorite spice or spice mix and introduce it into the cup before you pour in the boiling water in order for the spices to brew with the Black Tea leaves.
