Tea harvested from the Sabaragamuwa region in Ceylon produces some of the strongest tea on the island, which perfectly combines with dairy. The OP grade (Orange pekoe) is used for this brew.

Tea Cup Color & Characteristics: A dark, strong character.

Brewing Tips:           

  • Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, add tea powder, cover and let it steam for 3 minutes.
  • Immediately strain through a sieve and discard tea powder.
  • Serve the black tea (Ideal to be enjoyed with milk).
